The Genova-Casella Railroad has been touring these tracks since 1929. Get on at Piazza Manin in Genoa, and travel through the hilly, rugged and scenic countryside surrounding the city. The train, which leaves about once every hour, arrives at the rural town of Casella, where tourists can head out on a hike to further acquaint themselves with the Ligurian landscape, and then return to enjoy the local cuisine.
